Clothing has always been such an integral part of my life, especially streetwear. I started my first clothing brand when I was 13. It was my first run at clothing with a purpose that I ran through high school before eventually stepping away to focus on my studies. Since then I’ve launched a few other brands with meaning. Looking back, God has always pulled me toward clothing with intention.
As I’ve grown in my relationship with God, I began to understand that He called me to spread His word. Clothing is a beautiful way of doing so since it is a reflection of who you are. It is a way to profess your faith without having to say anything at all.
The name HHHLGA came to me while I was in church, listening to the choir sing “Holy, Holy, Holy”. Something about it stuck with me, so I went and read the verse it was inspired by Revelation 4:8: “Holy, Holy, Holy, is the Lord God Almighty.” I couldn’t get that verse out of my head. I just kept repeating it over and over.

The three H’s were important to me because they represent the 3 “Holy’s” in the verse and also the Holy trinity. HHHLGA is pronounced “Helga,” which comes from an old Norse name meaning “holy,” “sacred,” and “blessed.” That wasn’t something I forced, it just clicked. At that point, I knew it wasn’t random. I knew I was called to do something with it.
That’s how HHHLGA came to life.
